Meet the McCormick's
Chris McCormick is the Lead Pastor at Reliant Church. Chris and his wife Kayla followed God’s call to plant Reliant Church on the west side of Indianapolis. Raised in Indiana, they are passionate about foster care and adoption, family discipleship, and helping others know and follow Jesus.
Chris was called to vocational ministry in 2020 after previously working in college athletics as a strength & conditioning coach for over a decade. Chris received his Master of Arts in Church Planting from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and completed a church planting residency at Harvest Church in Carmel, IN. Kayla is a homemaker and licensed cosmetologist after working in the hair industry for several years.
Chris and Kayla have five children: Reise, Ryker, Everett, Riggins, and Emmett.

As we rely daily on Jesus through His Word, His people, and the Holy Spirit, the overflow of this relationship leads us to enter into other people’s lives. Our goal is to help them know and follow Jesus (evangelism) and teach others to obey His commands (discipleship).
